The senior party. It had rained and was cold at Big Surf so we went to the Rodeway Inn coffee shop and drank coffee all night.
In 1974 I joined the army for three years and stayed foe eight. When I was discharged I had a husband, a stepson, a daughter and a son. I attended Eastern New Mexico University and owned/operated a radiator business with my now ex-husband. In 1987 we moved to Phoenix where I was a construction coordinator for a custom home builder for four years and then took a position with the state at the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System. I divorced in 2002 and married my best friend Tommy in 2009. In August 2017 we both retired and moved to Strawberry.
Life is short, relationships are important. Spend time cultivating positive relationships with everyone you can.

Being a member of the Baseball Team was a big part of my experience at Arcadia. Many metaphors link sports and "life"... teamwork, confidence, failure, adversity, practice and preparation etc. I know being a player on those teams had a positive impact on my future.
My career was concentrated in the Transportation Equipment and Services Industry in Arizona and California. Our family business, Auto Safety House, sold and serviced school buses, truck equipment and truck/trailer parts and service. I also had an airport parking business named SmartPark. I was fortunate to retire some 14 years ago and have been on the go with new endeavors ever since.
Skiing and snowboarding are a big part of our life in the central Colorado town of Crested Butte. I have found a real passion teaching children and adults with disabilities to ski and snowboard.
