HAPPILY RETIRED
Single
My own reputation. lol.
I moved to L.A. in 1974, and auditioned for anything I felt I could do. In November'76, my fellow Arcadia buddy, HAROLD CARLSON (RIP), told me of an audition for a show that would be on Broadway called, "BEATLEMANIA." I got the part of John Lennon. We were a hit for the '77,'78,'79 seasons, at the WinterGarden Theatre. This led to the band, "RAIN: a Tribute to The Beatles", followed by, "IMAGINE: a Tribute to John Lennon" (20 video clips on YouTube) and finally, "Legends In Concert" in both Las Vegas (2 time Show of the Year), and again on Broadway.
I retired in 2009 and bought a home in beautiful, peaceful Utah.
I wasn't into the Arcadia scene as much as I desperately wanted to graduate into real life - beyond 1973 Scottsdale, AZ. I feel sorry for anyone whose horizons have barely broadened since then. You know who you are.
2023 Update: The last 50 years has been an amazing ride. I wouldn't change any of it.fyi: After 14 years retired - I say retirement is totally underrated. |
